How test prep works, whichever exam

  1. Step 1

    Diagnose first

A free 45-minute diagnostic finds which topics are costing marks and why: a concept gap, a calculation slip or running out of time.

  2. Step 2

    Plan to the exam date

A written plan divides the weeks until the exam by how much each topic is worth, not by the order of the textbook.

  3. Step 3

    Real exam questions

Practice uses released and past-year papers, timed, with every lost mark traced back to its cause.

  4. Step 4

    The same teacher throughout

One teacher every session, with the error journal and plan carried from week to week.

Test prep questions

Which exams do you prepare students for?

The math sections of AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Precalculus, the Digital SAT (and PSAT), and JEE Main and Advanced. SparklMind is a mathematics practice, so it does not tutor reading, writing, physics or chemistry sections.

Is test prep 1-on-1 or in a group?

Test prep is taught 1-on-1 by default, with the same teacher every session. An 8-week bootcamp and small-group cohorts are also available at a lower price.

How early should preparation start?

For AP, starting with the school year keeps tutoring a little ahead of class. For the SAT, plan for 8 to 12 weeks. For JEE, four to eight months of focused work is realistic; the free diagnostic tells you honestly if the time left is too short.

Can I practice for free first?

Yes. The AI exam hubs for AP Calculus BC, Digital SAT Math and JEE Main have every unit, a practice quiz and formula flashcards, free with an account.
