US Grades 5–12
Pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, statistics and calculus, following your district's unit plan and state standards.
Your child is matched with one teacher who teaches every class, follows their school's syllabus, and re-plans every two weeks based on what actually stuck. It starts with a free 45-minute diagnostic; after that, classes are $59 or ₹1,999 an hour, with no admission fee and no lock-in.
Pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, statistics and calculus, following your district's unit plan and state standards.
CBSE, ICSE and state boards, sequenced against your board's chapter order and marking scheme, including Class 10 and 12 board-year preparation.
AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Precalculus, and the Digital SAT Math section, practiced on released College Board questions.
Mathematics for JEE, paced to the chapters that carry the most marks, with past-year questions and mock analysis every week.
Most tutoring is a lecture with a smaller audience. These are the differences between watching someone solve a problem and being able to solve it yourself next week.
A shared whiteboard with this week's actual worksheet on it. The student holds the pen; the teacher follows the working, not just the answer.
Mistakes are interrupted at the line they happen, which is the only moment the correction lands, instead of being marked wrong at the end.
Desmos and GeoGebra open alongside the board, so a graph or a construction is drawn, not described.
Every mistake is logged as a concept gap, a calculation slip or running out of time. Those need different fixes, and revision is built from the journal.
The class recording, notes and board PDF land in the dashboard, so nothing depends on remembering what was said.
Not a sales call. A teacher opens the chapter your school is on right now and works through it with your child, and can usually name the year the gap started.
Which chapters need repair, roughly how many weeks that takes, and what the first month of classes covers. It is yours whether you enroll or not.
Scheduled around school, coaching and practice. Move any class up to four hours before it starts and it goes back into your balance.
The teacher checks the plan against what actually stuck and changes it. Parents get the same document the teacher works from.
Three steps, in this order. Being good at maths gets a teacher through the first one and nothing else.
Applicants write a paper from the exam their students will write, such as JEE Advanced maths or the AP Calculus BC free response, under time.
A demo class, watched. We are looking for one thing: do they stop when the student is lost, or keep going because the plan said so?
An identity check before teaching, then parent feedback and attendance are kept in view. If a teacher is not the right fit, you can ask for another at any time.
A coaching batch is cheaper and a recorded course is cheaper still. Here is what each one is actually good at, so you can rule us out quickly if we are not it.
| Compared on | Coaching batch | Recorded course | SparklMind 1-on-1 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Students per teacher | 60–200 | Unlimited | One |
| Pace | Fixed for everyone | Yours, unguided | Set by the diagnostic |
| Same teacher every class | Usually | No teacher | Always |
| Doubt turnaround | Next batch, if you ask | Forum, if any | Mid-sentence |
| Follows your school syllabus | No | No | Yes |
| Parent visibility | Term report | None | Fortnightly, written |
| Cost | Lowest | Lower | Highest |
If your child is already near the top of a good batch and self-corrects, a batch is the better spend. This is built for the student who is quietly lost in one and nobody has noticed yet.
Want the teaching without the full 1-on-1 price? See small-group cohorts of up to five students.
Pay per class, or commit to a month and each class costs less. No admission fee; stop any month.
Yes. Share the textbook and the school's chapter or unit plan in the first class. Lessons are sequenced to stay slightly ahead of school, so class time at school becomes revision instead of first exposure.
The free first class is a diagnostic. If there are gaps from earlier years, the teacher builds a short repair track and tells you plainly how many weeks it will take before regular chapter work resumes.
A common starting point is three a week, moving to two once the backlog clears, and four or five in a board or exam year. The diagnostic gives you a number rather than a package, and you can change it monthly without a penalty.
Any time, without asking. Parents can also watch the recording later: every class is recorded and available in the dashboard within two hours.
Ask for a different one, once or more than once, and the remaining classes carry over. The plan and error journal move with you, so the new teacher does not start from zero.
Move a class up to four hours before it starts at no cost, and it goes back into your balance.
Classes run Monday to Saturday in Indian Standard Time and all four continental US time zones. For 1-on-1 the teacher and family agree the days and times, including evening slots after school and practice.
Yes: no rotating substitutes and no recorded lessons standing in for a live class. If your child would do well in a small group, cohorts of up to five students are available at a lower hourly rate.
45 minutes, 1-on-1, no card needed. You get a written plan either way.
